What are disposable or replacement coils?

In disposable or replacement coils, the wire and the cotton are encased in a small cylinder of metal. These coils fit existing tanks and clearomizers. They look like a small metal encasing. When ordering disposable coils, you need to select the brand of your tank and choose the relevant coil. The wire and cotton are already in the coil. You simply need to prime the coil, by letting a few drops of e-liquid onto the cotton.

How do I build a coil in a Rebuildable Tank?

Coil wire and pre-built coils are for rebuildable atomizers, such RTAs and RDAs or drippers. These tanks have a deck where you can build the coil. Building the coil amounts to rolling the wire and placing the cotton according to the tank’s design.

What kind of metal is used?

Coil wire is available in different kinds of metal from Kanthal to Stainless Steel (SS) to NiChrome (Ni80). You can get more information in the coil wire section. The same goes for cotton and wick material.
