Mods
Mods are advanced electronic cigarettes. They often feature Variable Wattage and Temperature Control for an optimal vaping experience. Keep in mind that mods do not include a tank. If you are an experienced vaper, you can assemble your own kit by choosing a suitable tank. If you are a beginner, the easiest thing is to choose one of our starter-sets.

Mods are essentially battery holders. We only sell original products from trusted manufacturers such as Aspire, GeekVape, Innokin, Smok, Vaporesso, Voopoo and many other brands. They differ in shape and functionality, however. When choosing a mod, these are the factors you need to keep into consideration.
Internal vs. external battery
The battery could be built into the mod or be external (e.g., 18650 batteries). External batteries can be easily replaced when their performance decays. You do need to handle them properly, though.
Power
The battery needs to have enough power (expressed in mAh, milliampere hour). Ideally it should last you all day. A box-mod with an external battery is your best option. If you need something smaller, be aware of the limitations of your device. For instance, make sure you can recharge your battery during the day or carry an extra battery.
Form
Just like electronic cigarettes starter kits, mods come in all forms and shapes. We understand that form and look can be important. This is why we offer pen-style devices as well as box-mods.
Functionality
Mods features range from Variable Voltage, to Variable Wattage and Temperature Control devices.
-
Variable Voltage.
Many devices allow you to adjust the output of your battery. Typically you can usually choose any value between 3.2v and 4.7v. This determines the current that is applied to the coil. In this way, you can personalize your vaping experience.
-
Variable Wattage
Variable Wattage essentially looks at the result of applying current. For instance, you might set your device at 20 watts. The electronics of your electronic cigarette will determine the voltage to deliver 20w, given the resistance of your coil.
-
Temperature Control
Temperature Control is a recent development in electronic smoking. It allows you to avoid those terrible dry-hits (vaping when the coil has run out of e-liquid). The idea behind temperature control is that the resistance changes as the coil gets warmer. With metals such as Titanium (Ti), Nickel (Ni) and Stainless Steel (SS), the change in temperature and resistance are correlated. This correlation can be programmed in your device, so that you can set the maximum temperature reached by the coil. When the coil runs out of e-liquid, the temperature rises up to the value you selected. The device then lowers its output.
Is there anything else I need to know?
A last word of caution about mechanical mods (or unprotected devices). Mechanical mods do not feature any of the safety protections available in electronic devices. Unregulated devices fire even if the coil shorts or the battery is undercharged. If you do not understand what this means, you should stay away from mechs. We offer plenty of mods and kits for an enjoyable and satisfying vape in full safety.
